From the Board of Directors, October 2011 

The October meeting was at Waybury Inn in East Middlebury.  Featured speakers were Pat Jones, Blue Print for Health; Paul Harrington, VMS, Legislative Update; Priscilla Phelps, VITL, EHR Survival; and Bill Burbank, Symquest, Security/Disaster Recovery Planning. In case you missed this meeting, handouts from all the speakers, and handouts from other past meetings may be found in the Members Only area of this website. 

You can access that area from the “About the VT MGMA” tab: “Members Only.”  If you are a member, but have not registered to use the secure area, click on the “Members Access Registration” button above.  Once you’ve submitted the request, Lisa Ryan will approve you.

Over the winter we will be busy planning meetings for 2012.  If you have specific ideas, please contact any of the directors listed below.  Be sure to put on your calendar for next year the regional Northern New England MGMA meeting at the Samoset Resort in Rockport, Maine.

VTMGMA will also have a presence at the Vermont Medical Society Annual Meeting on October 29th.  Ellen will be attending and promoting our organization.  Tell your doctors to say hi!
